(Every Cold-Hearted Oxygen) (UA) / von Nassim Soleimanpour (2025)
Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour, who has already been a guest at the Mainz State Theater with his production "Nassim", and director Omar Elerian take the unique concept of Soleimanpour's plays to the next level. Every evening, new actors take to the stage, unaware of what will happen to them. Without a single rehearsal and unprepared, the theater text becomes their guide on a journey through the history of the author, who is repeatedly connected live from his apartment in Berlin. Or is he? Can we really know where or when we are?
The world premiere took place in July 2024 during the Lift Festival in London at the Royal Court Theatre. The production was developed and rehearsed in Mainz.

Der iranische Dramatiker Nassim Soleimanpour, der am Staatstheater Mainz schon mit seiner Produktion *Nassim* zu Gast war, und der Regisseur Omar Elerian heben das einzigartige Konzept der von Soleimanpour entwickelten Theaterstücke auf die nächste Ebene. Jeden Abend betreten neue Darsteller*innen die Bühne, ahnungslos, was mit ihnen passieren wird. Ohne eine einzige Probe und unvorbereitet wird der Theatertext zu ihrem Leitfaden auf einer Reise durch die Geschichte des Autors, der immer wieder live aus seiner Wohnung in Berlin zugeschaltet ist. Oder ist er es nicht? Können wir wirklich wissen, wo oder wann wir sind?
Die Weltpremiere fand im Juli 2024 während des Lift Festivals in London im Royal Court Theatre statt. Entwickelt und geprobt wurde die Produktion in Mainz.
